In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a striking scene showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Additional Features
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside numerous items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Addition
This update also introduces the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
